When it snows, New York City is nothing short of magic. We snapped these photos in East Village a couple weeks ago to capture the last real snowfall of winter (hopefully) before ducking into La Flaca for a bottomless brunch. Not only does La Flaca have excellent Mexican food (I highly recommend – especially if you have a moderate to sever hangover), it also provides the perfect viewpoint for people watching as they try – and fail – to navigate the slippery terrain.
If that bacon money shot inspired you, you can find La Flaca in the Lower East Side on Grand between Norfolk and Suffolk. We didn’t make a reservation and had no problem on a Sunday afternoon.
