As I mentioned on Friday, I couldn’t have asked for better weather while I was home. If the beach is my natural habitat, the boat is a close second.
In the summer, Sundays in Hilton Head are reserved for the sandbar (a nice long strip of beach that magically appears in the middle of the ocean at low tide and becomes quite the party circa 2pm). Because it was the middle of winter, we spent all day alternating between wake boarding, cruising, and trying not to spill our beers instead… we all make sacrifices.
After all of that
hard work lounging (it might have been 82 degrees on board, but that was not the case in the water) we hit Harbor Town for dinner at the Quarterdeck.
As the sun started to set, we piled back into the boat and cruised home with one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen at home as our backdrop. Good jams, great company. Confetti bombs everywhere.
