Montauk is full of hidden gems. A lot of the good spots require a drive down tree lined windy roads. Some are on the beach, some are in the woods, but The Crow’s Nest has the best of both worlds. The restaurant (which I’m dying to try) is tucked away into a green oasis with scattered fire pits, but if you wander far enough, you’ll stumble upon one of the best sunsets in the Hamptons.
The beach is dotted with a mixed crowd, sipping cocktails from the back bar. The area behind the beach is lined with cabanas, strung together with the prettiest lights that ease you from day to night. It’s the perfect spot to catch up, relax, and glide into another weekend out East.
The back bar opens at 7 and closes after the sun goes down. If you fancy a visit – which you should – you can find it at 4 Old West Lake Dr.
