I crossed a city off of my northeast bucket list this weekend.
Boston is one of my mom’s favorite cities and I even applied to Boston College my senior year of high school, but I never made the trip to visit. When we got the invite to our friend’s charity fundraiser, the second annual Sparkle Party, we packed up the car and headed straight for the W Boston. We started the weekend off with breakfast at Galley Diner (a must – even Anthony Bourdain says so) followed by some shopping on Newbury St and a stroll through Boston Common (Boston’s nod to Central Park).
After drinks with friends, we wiggled back to the W to get ready for the evening. Don’t tell anyone, but I hired some models to accompany me. Well, one real model ….. and two aspiring ones. Boston is a fantastic city and I look forward to making another trip (solely for the clam chowder) soon.
